For millions of years New Zealand has been isolated and unique birds, animals and plants have developed here. New Zealand conservationists are dedicated to preserving the natural history of and enabling visitors to view many of NZ's animal life close up by ways of guided tours, or by visiting one of the many animal parks and scenic reserves.
