The Landing is the perfect Wairarapa wedding venue for those seeking a contemporary, yet elegant country setting. Surrounded by beautiful landscaped grounds, The Landing can offer comfortable seating for 70 guests although larger functions can also be catered for with the sweeping lawn suitable for a marquee.
Hosts Marianne and Robin understand that every wedding is unique and would be delighted to work with you to help you achieve a memorable occasion. Their in depth local knowledge and established contacts place them in a unique position to recommend local caterers, florists and photographers who will also help you create a stress free event.
A specially designed kitchen allows for self catering options while the effortlessly classic décor provides the perfect canvas from which you can create your own themed wedding.
The Landing’s varied garden will also capture you and your guests’ imagination. From the quince and crab apple walks near the side of the main house, to the spring-fed stream, weeping willows, rustic farm wagons and dove house only metres from the wedding venue – it’s hard not to be captivated. The garden also provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. With everything located on one site, it can help eliminate any unnecessary stress for the bridal party.

Light, airy and spacious, set in extensive established gardens, The Landing at Homebush offers accommodation of a standard rarely found in the Wairarapa.
Offering luxury bed and breakfast the property also features a stand alone function venue, designed by Ian Athfield, with a commercial kitchen and seating for 80 guests (a dedicated area for a marquee catering for larger occasions).
The Ted McCoy designed house, previously a family home, has been extended and completely refurbished, pale colours, exquisite linens and delicate touches make it a romantic country home and a fairytale setting for a bridal party, honeymoon couple or guests looking for a peaceful country retreat.
Hosts Marianne and Robin have travelled extensively and lived in the UK for a number of years, returning to develop this business. The function venue, formerly known as Toads Landing , has been extended to seat extra guests and the kitchen renovated.
Only a few minutes drive from Masterton and ideally positioned on the route of the Wairarapa Wine Trail, The Landing at Homebush is a glorious base from which to explore this diverse and beautiful region.
