Our grounds and accommodation are the perfect setting for those wanting to get married or attend a wedding in the Hawkes Bay. We have hosted weddings, wedding parties and after wedding functions. We are conveniently close to churches, vineyards and reception venues.
Horse of the Year
Horse of the Year is another large event for us as we are able to graze the competing horses as well as the riders and supporters. This is the largest equestrian event in the Southern Hemisphere. We also have ample room for horse floats and trucks.
Mission Concert
The Mission Concert is undoubtedly the signature concert in the Bay every year. Accommodation is at an absolute premium for this event and it is generally fully booked within minutes of the Concert date being announced. Generally the artist is announced a month later. We offer a bus service to and from the Concert so that guests don’t need to worry about parking or drinking & driving.
There is something about the Hawkes Bay that lifts the spirits.

These simple but elegant boutique cottages are set in 5 acres of manicured spacious grounds just off the main road between Hastings and Havelock North.
As well as an in-ground pool for those scorching summer days The Cottages on St Andrews is home to three beguiling alpacas named Tom, Dick and Harry misleading names given their distinct personalities a mischievous miniature pony some Dexter cows and a small flock of sheep. All the animals are eager to be hand fed, especially fond of the abundant apples on offer from nearby orchards.
Each cottage has its own private garden and barbeque facilities ideal for indulging in produce form the truly spectacular Hawkes Bay Farmers’ Market at the nearby Showgrounds and perhaps a drop from one of the excellent vineyards in this area renowned for excellent wine.
An easy drive from several beautiful white sand East Coast Beaches and just a short distance from Art Deco capital, Napier, The Cottages are a relaxed base from which to explore this glorious region.
