Why worry indeed? Join seasoned hosts Vickie and Rodger Corbin in their idyllic, sprawling family home, with all the comforts of a New Zealand farming dynasty. Warm and inviting, Waiwurrie is set atop a hillside looking out to the Mahinepua Peninsula with its renowned coastal walk and stunning coastline.
A perfect setting for golfers, Waiwurrie is neatly located within a short drive to five different golf courses, including Kauri Cliffs and Waitangi. There is also plenty of opportunity to enjoy fishing charters, walks, dives and the many beaches in sunny Northland.
The décor has a country feel, in a traditional farmhouse style, while the food is homemade and substantial - Vickie's Manuka Honey icecream comes highly recommended, while local meat and produce sourced from markets and the farm are used to create hearty dinners.
The farm setting is another enjoyable factor in the Waiwurrie experience - an insight into New Zealand farming is part and parcel of your stay here, and against such a dramatic backdrop, it's one that will never be forgotten.
