Depending on your needs, we work closely with the local Yum Food Company, owned by award-winning chef Prue Campbell. Yum Deli offers lunch and gourmet dinner options, Allpress coffee as well as speciality foods and a delicious continental gourmet breakfast basket that can be delivered to your villa. Yum Catering delivers divine food for all occasions, from small degustation dinners to weddings. Yum Cook School offers regular classes that cater for different levels and styles of food to suit all aspiring chefs.
Two elegant, secluded villas, sit high above Lake Taupo's Mine Bay. Sheltered from the south and with commanding views to the north and west they sit respectfully amid the lush native bush which surrounds. Expanses of glass open onto wide terraces with lake views. Each has its own private swimming pool, Villa one's a 12 metre mineral lap pool. Both villas have two spacious ensuited master rooms with the same layout . Superbly appointed travertine bathrooms with floor to ceiling glass allow one to enjoy the sensation of being in the native bush.The expansive seagrass and leather lounge suites beckon one to curl up while reading, listening to music, or just contemplating the view. Persian rugs and a collection of New Zealand watercolours lend an air of understated elegance.Floodlit double tennis courts with a pavilion, a petanque court and a croquet lawn are available for use. A short swim or kayak around the point will reveal spectacular carvings on the cliff face. As well as excellent trout fishing grounds and guiding, Taupo has two world renowned 18- hole golf courses -Wairakei International and Kinloch (New Zealands's only Jack Nicklaus Signature Course).Guests have the choice of self catering in the particularly well appointed and provisioned kitchens or may choose to avail themselves of the services of renowned chef, Prue Campbell. A full selection of spa treatments is available in the privacy of your villa.
