Kapiti Coast is an unspoiled part of the country offering much. Vista del Sol is on the out-skirts of Waikanae, right in the heart of it all. Situated a short drive off the main highway and perched on a hill with views over the surrounding farmland, bush valleys and out to Kapiti Island, it is picture perfect.
Mike and Lynette have put much planning and thought into developing Vista del Sol into a first class property with the discerning tourist in mind. They have thought of everything. Downstairs there is a gracious lounge that has a lovely relaxed feel, a bar for meeting fellow guest and our hosts to chat about the day and the many attractions in the area.
The suites are all beautifully furnished with individual touches made by the very talented Lynette and to make things even more of a treat, a lift to whisk our bags to our room. Entertaining guests is one of their passions, a tour of the extensive designer kitchen will only emphasize the fact they are serious about ensuring only the best will do for their guests.
This area has so many attractions, it's a must to stay several days. The Southward Car Museum, Nga Manu Nature Reserve- one of the best in New Zealand, Paraparaumu Beach Golf Course are just a few. However you may prefer to partake in the on-site day spa, or just walk the property and admire the horses, the view and sunsets.
