Stay two nights and receive complimentary bottle NZ white wine.
The name says it all because from every room in the house I could hear the waves of the Tasman Sea crashing below. This New Zealand style accommodation is set above one of the West Coast's amazing beaches.
Breakers has four guestrooms, two of which are in the house. Both have sea views, queen-size beds and access to a large balcony.
The other two rooms are away from the main house in a separate wing and have views over Mussel Point. These two rooms are more modern but still in keeping with the New Zealand 'bach' (small seaside cottage) theme.
I stayed in one of the newer rooms called the Sunset Room, which had a large king-size bed where I lay in the morning with the curtains and door open to enjoy the seaview while I had a cup of tea in bed.
The house is surrounded by piles of driftwood and river rocks which have been collected from local beaches. Jan prepared a lovely breakfast and gave me advice about the sort of activities I might enjoy during the day. She loves the outdoors and had many walks, suggested sights and other activities to recommend.
