Mt Rosa Lodge

Drive through the Gibbston Valley wine region from Queenstown and towards the end of the valley to picturesque Mt Rosa Vineyards. We wind up through the vines to Mt Rosa Lodge. Looking back over the valley the view over vineyards and mountains is spectacular, you are in another world.

Maureen and Brian have developed this haven on 20 acres of land that also includes 5 acres of private vineyards. They are passionate about food and wine and have their own private label Pinot Noir - The Imbiber. Maureen is a Cordon Bleu chef and Brian a wine judge. Their tastes are impeccable and as expected the 3 guest suites reflect the very best of style, fine linens, local art work, and every possible luxury to make our stay special.

From the terrace there is a special ambience overlooking future wines moving towards harvest as the sun goes down. The guest lounge with beautiful views over the valley has invitingly comfortable sofas, interesting artworks, stunning fireplace and items of furniture that all tell the most wonderful stories. Then there is the wine cellar room, this is just special, a connoisseur's dream or so romantic for a dinner for two. Dinner is by arrangement however no stay at Mt Rosa Lodge would be complete without joining this very talented couple over dinner learning the finer points of this world renowned wine growing region.
