The drive through the country lanes North East of Kerikeri inlet towards Fernbrook gives only a hint of the lushness of the 27ha sanctuary that Robert and Margaret have created over a number of years. Driving up the tree lined driveway does not prepare one for the breathtaking water views and extensive gardens that stretch out to the inlet.

At Fernbrook you are offered a choice between a luxury two bedroom beachfront cottage with every convenience and a one bedroom apartment on two floors, both with outstanding sea views. There is an adjacent bedroom with en suite bathroom available with the apartment if required.A delicious complimentary continental breakfast is offered on day one of your stay.

Robert and Margaret have spent countless hours regenerating the native habit, ensuring the sustainability of the native bird life including the North Island Brown Kiwi. An exciting feature of your stay at Fernbrook is the Kiwi Viewing Evening Tour where you can observe Kiwi in their natural habitat.

Numerous golf courses and beaches are an easy drive away, as is the historic town of Kerikeri. However you may like us choose to just wander the numerous tracks on the property, pick the spoils of Robert and Margaret's labour from the orchards and simply enjoy their company.
