Bay of Many Coves

Oh la la! The romance, fun, sense of adventure and tranquility that isolation and water bring to this picture. Isolation, however does not mean unsophisticated.

The only way to reach Bay of Many Coves Resort is by water taxi or float plane. We pull into the jetty and our hosts are there to greet us, welcoming us as friends to show us to the waterside café for a welcoming drink whilst our bags are unloaded and whisked to our room.

Already the magic is working! Our apartment, as with all others, overlooks the spectacular bay and surrounding bush covered hills. The afternoon is drawing in and it is madness not to move out onto the deck with a glass of the best bubbles. The apartments whether they are one, two or the three bedrooms all have astonishing views over the water, every amenity you could wish for including kitchens and complete privacy.

Dining at Bay of Many Coves is what dreams are made of, overlooking the water, superb cuisine features local seafood, the freshest of produce from the gardens and a great festive atmosphere. Isolation also does not translate as nothing to do. Try kayaking, hiking. diving, mountain biking, horse-riding  or just relaxing with the best coffee around the pool or a personal treatment at the day spa. All that's required here is to relax, soak up the atmosphere, enjoy great food and appreciate romance and nature. This is escapism at its very best.
