Traminer View Vineyard B&B

Think of Blenheim and the first thing that comes to mind is the wine region with rolling vineyards, Traminer View Vineyard Bed and Breakfast forms part of that picture. Overlooking 6 acres of Gewurtztraminer grapes that form the basis of a single block vintage wine this Bed and Breakfast is located just a few hundred metres from the town centre so is the perfect place to stop, stay awhile and take in the very best Marlborough has to offer.

Marg and Nick are our hosts and we are greeted with the smell of home baking and fresh bread. There is everything here for guests, a lovely dining room where breakfast is served each morning and what a breakfast, if you fancy something in particular Marg will whip it up. I can thoroughly recommend the raspberry muffins. The lounge is adjacent to a games room with pool table and proved to be a great source of entertainment. The two spacious, tastefully decorated guest rooms are upstairs with one overlooking the beautiful gardens and out to the river at the back and one the vineyard at the front. Both bathrooms are huge with room to spread yourself out. An extra room can be booked for families traveling together.

It was beautiful taking a fresh morning stroll along the river bank enjoying the various birdlife. Marg is an excellent and caring host and happy to help with bookings or local information.  Traminer View is true genuine New Zealand hospitality as its very best.
