The garden has been recognised as a "Garden of National Significance." In the traditional potager I eyed the ripening fruit on the espaliered vines, the vegetable bounty and sampled delicious berries. As I sat on the terrace at dusk enjoying a glass of wine, the rural setting, formal garden all conveyed a wonderful feeling of peace and relaxation.
