Koura Lodge is situated near the tip of Kawaha Point, a leafy peninsula on the western shore of Lake Rotorua. The Lodge is just five-minutes drive from the city centre, but secluded from traffic noise This unique lake-front retreat nestles in a peaceful garden setting with panoramic views over the lake.
It has a variety of accommodation from bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, plus spa-bath options, to a self-contained family apartment. Guests can swim from the private beach, then warm up in the open-air spa by the lake. The Lodge also has a Finnish Sauna and massages available.
The private jetty is an ideal starting point for floatplane and boating excursions. A round of golf is a popular excursion at the nearby 18-hole golf course. An extensive European style buffet breakfast is served in the lake-edge dining room. Finnish soapstone fireplaces throughout ensure that Koura Lodge is warm and inviting in summer or winter.
Koura Lodge can be booked exclusively for boutique weddings and small corporate functions and teambuilding.
