Carradale Manor

Having hosted guests on their farm for some twenty  years, Jim and Karen McIntyre have transferred their undeniable hosting skills to their new home in the Mid Canterbury town of Ashburton.

They describe really missing the company of guests in the intervening time between selling their farm and taking up residence in Carradale Manor. "Next to having children this is our most rewarding career"

Having made a few additions to the spacious family home they had purchased they were back in business and haven't looked back.

Set in landscaped gardens the house provides the privacy required by a retired farmer, bounded by a stream and reserve on one side, one could be forgiven for forgetting the neighbours exist.

An overwhelming atmosphere of warmth and welcome pervades Carradale Manor, Jim and Karen are generous with their time and wide knowledge of the area and its assets and hearty country breakfasts are a treat. Long experience in the industry has taught them to be sensitive to the needs of their guests, particularly those from other cultures.
